Today was a productive day – not only did I get the tutorial for June’s block posted, but I got a ton of sewing done, too! …with a teething kid! …and I cleaned house! The rain is nice if for no other reason than to get me doing stuff since I can’t feel guilty for staying indoors.
I had these crocheted and laying around and finally decided to block them. They are the Calla Coasters pattern found on the Purl Bee website. Two of them are from some remnant organic cotton. I just love the feel of them.
I got the boys quilts loaded. I tried something new…I loaded both quilts at once, which meant loading two different backings. It was actually no problem at all. They are all loaded and ready for me to quilt tomorrow. Much faster to quilt them both at the same time than one at a time.
Well, I decided to keep it for Brice. It’s a 12” pillow form, so it’s perfect for his little hands. Sheri, I’m sure you will recognize ALL of these scraps.
I even remembered to put a label on! …after it was all sewn together. (Sorry, slightly blurry.)
These arrived from my printer today (along with a few others) and will be listed in the photography shop tomorrow as a set. They are 5×7 prints from the Barn House Flea Market last month. They are printed on Kodak Endura paper with a luster coating – the finish is to die for. So sometime tomorrow morning if you want to grab them up!
