April's printable is now available! I created an embroidery themed printable note for this month. It's free to download! There are 6 little notes per page with instructions for cutting out. I tried to make it as easy as possible! Use these as individual notes, or print a bunch and glue them together to create a notepad. Working on a custom for @gin4g2013 She requested thread to match the fabric so I had to come up with designs that stayed in the blue for this block. It's an 8" block, not very big, so I didn't want to have too dense of quilting or too much over stitching, but I wanted enough quilting to hold everything in place over the years of use. This was the toughest block in the Deco quilt to come up with a design for that fit the theme, but all of my other requirements as well. Chain piecing HSTs without lines. I have a template under the pieces I follow as I stitch to keep it lined up. So much quicker. Pulled out an old WIP. I need a quilt for my studio chair for when Hazel comes out with me, and I need to get the guilt of this project just sitting there off my back. I think this line was by Sandi Henderson, and I think it was called Farmers Market...or Ginger Blossom...? I remember it was a favorite at the time and my grandma got me the whole fat quarter set for Christmas. It came with the cutest basket to hold everything. I still have that, too! I was originally going to make a zig zag quilt with it, they were super pipular at the time. I didn't want to square all of these, I think that's why I stalled. I'm not going to square them, this project doesn't need to be perfectly square. #quilt #wip #sandihenderson #quiltersofinstagram
