This adorable ukulele is foundation paper pieced and made into a simple mini quilt to adorn your walls. Not into mini quilts? Incorporate this into the front panel of a bag project! Embellish with embroidery extra like strings, tone adjuster keys or someones name along the neck. Pattern includes instructions for piecing the sections and mini quilt, as well as the pattern pieces to print on your foundation paper of choice. Knowledge of paper piecing is needed, as detailed instructions are not given. I highly recommend using an Add-A-Quarter Ruler when piecing this project, but it is not necessary. Check out this video tutorial at Connecting Threads on how to use an Add-A-Quarter ruler. Finished size: 4-1/2″ x 10-1/2″ *Updated 9/2/2015 with colored sections on the foundation pieces and clarified instructions for piecing the sections.
Supply Requirements: 1/4 yard background fabric, print and solid scraps, fat quarters or sizeable scraps for backing and binding, low loft batting scrap.
