This lovely Lottie quilt is on its way back home to @crimsonconfection (she has a great fabric shop on Etsy, be sure to check it out). Jennifer requested something a little less dense, and as a longarm quilter I always struggle with that. I think we like to quilt the heck out of everything. But I think this pattern was a great one for keeping it looser but still well quilted. I took it a bit larger than I would normally, and I think it turned out quite nice! The quilting pantograph is Double Wedding by @thequiltingmill and I know it will be one I use as often as I can. It's a classic design that works so well on so many quilts.

Another Mountain Horizon quilted for @loandbeholds

Another Mountain Horizon quilted for @loandbeholdstitcher! I was so honored to be asked to quilt this for Brittany again for her updated release of the pattern. It has probably been the most repeated quilt on my frame over the years and I never tire of seeing it. I now offer the block design (the original and new version scaling) with a bonus edge-to-edge panto included, in my shop. Of course I'm always happy to quilt your Mountain Horizon quilt, too!

Not a quilt, but a life update! I know I mentioned

Not a quilt, but a life update! I know I mentioned about 2 years ago Aaron had a couple strokes and then I never elaborated (its a story and related to his heart and bypass he had in 2019). He's been type 1 diabetic for about 30 years now and along with that kidney problems generally follow. He is at end stage renal disease (ESRD) now and we have been leaning to do home dialysis the past two weeks. Today was our first day at home. He started the kidney transplant process about a year ago and we have just a few more things to do and he'll officially be on the list for a new kidney (it's a 2-3 year average wait time in the PNW). So while I'm not posting on here as much, I am still quilting!! In fact I just quilted a new Mountain Horizons quilt for @loandbeholdstitchery and I'll be sharing that next post. So don't hesitate to reach out if you need some quilting done!

This fun asterisk quilt was on my frame today. Grayce picked Spring Sparkle, one of my new pantos, for it. I think it ended up being a perfect design for this quilt. She wanted a weightier batting so we went with @quiltersdream Cotton Supreme. It's a great quilting texture and should be a nicely weighted quilt.
