The first batch of stickers headed out the door! Thank you everyone for all your support. Whether it's a purchase a like or a comment, it all counts and is appreciated! I'm just so excited to be able to share what I draw, even when it's just in my feed, but printed items brings it to a whole new level. #stickers #stickershop

After what feels like months of teasing, stickers

After what feels like months of teasing, stickers are finally live in my Etsy shop! For as long as I can remember I have loved anything and everything stationary. We use to have an offi e supply store here called JK Gills when I was a kid. For my birthday my mom would ask what I wanted and I wanted to go there and buy all the pens, papers and stickers I could. I could just look for hours and hours (same with the Sanrio store when we had one in Portland). I was so sad when JK Gills went out of business. Never as a kid did I ever think I possessed the talent to make stationary, so to be here now, at 41 years old, releasing stickers....feels like a lifetime goal achieved. It's taken me many, many years to realize we all have different tastes and aesthetics, and to feel confident enough to share my art, so I hope it speaks to some of you as well. I've started off with a small release and we'll see how it goes. If it's a resounding success, I'll keep at it. If it flops...well, nothing ventured, nothing gained, but I'm still extremely happy with what I've created. I find I share quite a bit more on my stories than

I find I share quite a bit more on my stories than I do my feed and realize I haven't really shared that I've been working on a sticker release for my shop. I talk about it on my art feed a little, but haven't really said anything here. I'm going to be sharing more of my art here than usual, as time allows with quilting. I'm almost ready to release everything, just going back and forth on shipping. For now I'll just release on Etsy and there's two shipping options, 1) they calculate or 2) I set flat fees. With each comes exhorbinate shipping fees (I think) for shipping stationary, so I'm still debating how to handle it all. I'll be posting and sharing more this week, so I hope you'll pop in to see all the sticker sheets and vinyl stickers I have to offer. My hope is to release everything this week. So let's all cross our fingers! #stickers

I snuck in a few smaller quilts that have been waiting in the studio for a few months. I couldn't resist drawing up a design to match @lucindasnyder fabric in her quilt. I love the texture it created on this! This is one of 3, I'll share the other 2 soon.

I still have 2 more quilts to go with the last (giant) quilt, but wanted to take a little break from the custom design of that. I needed a little brain break. This dufus got all the big dumb Golden genes, for sure. The greyhound-like running around the backyard must be the poodle part. He's a big hair bear, and we call him Fozzy Bear when he gets all shaggy. He sheds like crazy. Hes great with all the birds and the cats. He's always trying to get Jojo to play with him. He's a pretty awesome dog to have as part of our family. #goldendoodle #internationaldogday
