Quilting Foxes
I quilted this adorable fox quilt back in April for Angela. It is baby size, and was such a fast quilt, that I didn’t even get anything on Instagram of this one. Angela asked for woodgrain quilting, so I sketched out an idea and then free-motion quilted it on. She wanted woodgrain, but not too dense, so the quilt was still soft and snuggly. I think the quilting achieved just that. It was really hard to capture the quilting on the quilt itself, it blended in so well with the background fabric, that I sent along this sketch with Angela so she could see just how her quilt was quilted. I think it ended up being the perfect quilting for the quilt.

I love your quilt. I just made this same quilt a few months ago for my sister, also with a wood grain quilted design. I love how you didn’t quilt it too densely. I think next time I’ll try it that way. The fabrics you chose for the foxes are perfect. They go together so well.

I agree, the fabrics were just perfect! I wish I could take credit for the quilt itself, but that was made by Angela of Fussy Cut, I just helped her with the quilting. :)
