Another year of AGF Stitched has started up! If you aren’t familiar with AGF Stitched, it’s a collaboration between Art Gallery Fabrics and Fat Quarter Shop. Each quarter a group of select bloggers makes a set pattern with Art Gallery Fabrics of our choosing, and Fat Quarter Shop puts together a video tutorial for making the quilt. Our first quilt for this year is the Blithe Quilt, which is available as a free download at Fat Quarter Shop.

AGF Stitched // Locket Quilt
I’m a week late posting my AGF Stitched quilt for the last quarter of 2015. December threw me for a loop, not least of which was because I had a horrible flu that just wouldn’t go away. Despite all of that, I was able to finish the 4th quilt in the AGF Stitched series. It’s the Locket Quilt pattern (a free download) designed to feature Amy Sinibaldi’s new fabric line for Art Gallery Fabrics (which I just love). For my version of the Locket Quilt I used fabrics from April Rhodes Bound fabric line. As i’ve said with the past…

AGF Stitched // Welded Quilt
I am so excited to share this quilt with you, I only wish I had the time to quilt it before this post! I have been out of town for a few weeks, so I had to hurry to get this pieced the last two days, so quilting will be happening this weekend I hope. The pattern for this round of AGF Stitched with Kimberly is the Welded Quilt by Art Gallery Fabrics. It’s a very simple quilt to piece, but due to the nature of the piecing you get a really great square turned on point. As with all…

AGF Stitched // Fractal Quilt
Once again, I was so pleased to be asked to participate in the AGF Stitched series. This time around we used the Kites Plus Ruler by Creative Grids to create the Fractal Quilt (this link takes you to the free pattern). Despite there being quite a few Y-seams, the quilt went together ridiculously fast! It ended up taking me two days, but only because I got a late start cutting on the first day, otherwise it could easily be made in a day. As with the last quilt in the series, I wanted to go with fabrics that were light and…

AGF Stitched – Birchen Quilt
I had this lengthy post all written up about his quilt, and using the Triangles on a Roll, and how Art Gallery Fabric and Fat Quarter Shop have teamed up to do a video series called AGF Stitched….and then the post decided not to auto save and I lost it all. I really hate when that happens. I’m going to do my best to reconstruct what I said, and ignore the fact that I spent about an hour trying to write that first post and really just want to head into bed now. So, as I was saying, Fat Quarter…
