14 years! (I remembered! It took until 6pm, but I remembered!) It's been quite the 14 years. I'm hoping we have some boring, run-of-the-mill years coming up. I always tell him he's stuck with me for life. I don't think he minds. Met, engaged, married and pregnant in 9 months, I guess we don't know how to take it slow and be boring.

Just hiding out in a quilt tent, pulling off paper. 😂 Claire's medallions are stabilized from being embroidered, so I'm removing them from the areas I'm quilting so the quilting puffs up. If I quilted on the stabilizer it would lay rather flat, like stitches on paper. Since this top is huge (280" long) I'm pulling them as I go. I think its easier this way and it allowed me to get going on the quilting a bit faster. I'll just pull a few rows at a time. It's a great way to hide from everyone, too! #longarmquilting #gammillquilting

The sunflowers are as tall as the garden umbrellas. They loved that 100°+ weather we had recently and shot up so much everyday. It's crazy to see the growth difference day to day. I'll share some more garden photos on @sometimescrafterhomestead soon. #sometimescrafterfarm

Just so you know, I'll totally be complaining the next time it's grey and rainy and wishing we had this heat again. All winter I'll be like: remember that awesome, warm summer we had... I do love the heat, even though this was slightly unbearable these last few days. Tomorrow's 91° is gonna feel like 60° after these crazy temps.

The studio is ready for summer! It took a few year

The studio is ready for summer! It took a few years but I finally got it together and can't wait to spend time on the deck. My husband was joking about all the seating areas around the property (2 on the patio, 2 in the garden, front porch and two on the studio deck) but all of them get different light (and heat) at different times of the day. This way we always have a perfect spot to relax with a different view at each if them. Now I just need some friends to come over and have tea with me. #sometimescrafterstudio

Printing on fabric again. I just used my inkjet and freezer paper, no chemicals this time since I just want to embroider over it. ...and I wanted to be sure my new printer did okay printing on fabric. It did fabulous! #canonprinter #canonts9521c #printedfabric
